- The call. A coordinator asks what you are using, how much, how long, and what happened last time you stopped. Nothing in it goes outside the clinical team.
- Benefit verification. We contact your insurer directly and come back with what your plan covers, so you are not on hold.
- Clinical review. Our medical team confirms detox is the right level, and flags anything that needs a hospital bed rather than a residential one.
- Arrival and intake. You are assessed on arrival, every medication you take is reviewed, and your withdrawal protocol starts the same day.

New Leaf Detox accepts all PPO plans, which can cover up to 100% of treatment costs, including plans from Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, GEHA and Health Net.

Does New Leaf run outpatient programs or sober living?
No. We deliver medical detox, residential treatment and dual diagnosis care on site. For PHP, IOP and sober living we refer you to providers we coordinate with, arranged before you leave.
Can I bring my dog to detox?
Yes. New Leaf runs a pet-friendly rehab track, which removes a common reason people put detox off. Tell the coordinator on your first call so it is arranged ahead of arrival.
